Sofar Sounds is a global community with a vision of bringing the magic back to live music.

Sofar Sounds exists in more than 90 countries in over 300 cities.

Through intimate concerts Sofar Sounds bring people together in changing secret venues.

There is one show every month, it is free and everyone is welcome.

When working as the City Leader of the Sofar Sounds Aarhus team, I was in charge of making a new show happen every month. This ment making sure that everyone was on point with their tasks so that we had a new venue every month, that the volunteers where up for the date and knew their position of the day, the music was booked and the artists in loop, communication on SoMe was up to date, were ready on all the logistics and so on.

Next to the one-show-every-month, we did bigger collaborations where I worked as the project manager.

One of the collaboration I did at my time as a project manager for Sofar Sounds, was with Amnesty International, where Sofar Sounds cities around the world, joined forces on helping the refugees of the world.

The project was called 'GIVE A HOME'. It was executed in more than 200 cities around the world and were supported by huge artists like Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Rudimental,  Moby, The National and many others.

In Denmark "GIVE A HOME" were represented in Aarhus and Copenhagen with artists like Kajsa Vala, Katinka and Danni Toma.

We also had some great collaborations with among other ' Aarhus Festuge, as a part of Understrøm where we did a full day of concerts in the center of Aarhus. Also, we did a great collaboration with Aarhus Theater at the time they did the "Lyden af de Skuldre vi står på" show where audience got the chance to sneak peak on the  rehearsals before the concerts.
